Are these tours appropriate for children?
Although historic walking tours in town are appropriate for all ages, eco and historic hiking tours are rated by difficulty level on the booking page. Please email or call with any questions.
Are there prohibited behaviors?
Rude, unruly, obviously intoxicated guests or those exhibiting lewd behavior will be removed. Harassment of other guests or your guide will not be tolerated for any reason. Guests are asked not to smoke in the group.
What should I wear?
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. A light jacket is always a good idea. If you are on a hiking tour, make sure to dress comfortably for the woods.
Will the tour operate if it snows or rains?
In the event of dangerous weather such as hail, ice, or lightening, the host will cancel the tour and refund all members. However, the tour will still run if there is light rain or snow.
Are these tours accessible?
All kinds welcome! Historic walking tours in town will take place on sidewalks or blacktop. Eco and historic hiking tours are rated by difficulty level on the booking page. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email with questions.
Where do we meet & park?
Historic downtown Fayetteville tours will meet at 211 W Maple Avenue at Mountain Magnolia beside Pies & Pints. Parking is out back.
Eco and historic hikes will begin at the designated meeting area on your booking confirmation. No transportation is provided. Parking will be available at the trailhead.
Should I bring anything?
Bug spray and sunscreen are always a great pair for summer! An umbrella is always nice to have on hand.
Can I bring my dog?
All furry friends are welcome, but must be on a leash at all times. However, as some tours take place on national park grounds, it is necessary to clean up after your pups.
